Anytime a season ends without holding the trophy can be viewed as a disappointment, especially when you’re at a place like the University of Alabama. But it’s not the only prism through which a season should be viewed.

Take the most recent conclusions of Crimson Tide sports in softball and baseball. Both would love to still be playing right now and both had goals of doing so. But the accomplishments should be noted as well. There are no moral victories at UA, but it is a place that celebrates its heritage and history.
