Offensive Line Refocuses After Subpar Performance
The offensive line is taking a beating this week. It wasn’t a pretty game for the guys up front, and they’re wearing the brunt of it as the unit allowed seven sacks and committed five penalties.
Not all of the sacks should be placed at their feet, but the nature of the position is what it is so the sacks sevens will fall on them regardless. However, as Nick Saban said after the game, the wide receivers need to do a more consistent job of getting open and the quarterback has to be more conscious of when to throw the ball.
