Not So Suttles: Sept. 18, 2024

Alabama Quarterback Jalen Milroe (4) runs the ball against Wisconisin at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin on Saturday, Sep 14, 2024.

It feels a little soon for an off week, right?

That’s the general feeling I have this week as the Crimson Tide rest and heal up before all eyes turn to Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Sept. 28 at 6:30 p.m. for the primetime showdown between No. 2 Georgia at No. 4 Alabama.

They’re familiar foes. The teams have played classic games dating back over a decade. There’s not much separation between the teams except for the infamous “Black Out” game in 2008. The going-to-a-funeral game. But there’s plenty of time to examine and pontificate about that game. Even though there’s a new coach in Tuscaloosa, it’s still important to remember The Process, one thing at a time.
