Grace.

It’s an easy concept to grasp, but oftentimes harder to embody. We offer and accept it freely on Sunday mornings, but it’s a little more difficult to render on Saturday afternoon and evenings when emotions are inflamed and on edge.

No one needs to atone for their fandom. It’s that rabidness that makes others seek out the University of Alabama as a destination. But that partisanship can sometimes blind good, reasonable souls under the veil of crimson and white.

No one left Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday night feeling particularly good about the offensive line play that was on display for three and a half quarters. It was inefficient and clumsy and, yes I’ll say it, downright ugly at times.
