This is a traditionally slow time in the collegiate sports calendar with Memorial Day approaching, so it’s easy at the moment to be thinking of hamburgers, hotdogs and three-day weekend plans. But don’t slam the door on the spring sports schedule just yet as softball is in postseason play and baseball is arguably playing its best ball of the season.
