It’s a good thing football seasons aren’t contested by words on the Internet. Because if they were, Alabama might as well not suit up this season, according to some.

The usual suspects were afoot Thursday when word broke that Notre Dame transfer quarterback Tyler Buchner was transferring to Alabama. It was simply too much to ask of them to wait until how this played out, for in their minds the Crimson Tide was in dire straits and current players on the UA roster would be headed for the transfer portal.
